Guidelines for submitting articles to VMSTODAY

VMSTODAY is written for senior executives in multiple sectors including city surveillance, law enforcement, healthcare organizations, K-12 and higher education. Our readers are A&E Firms, CIOs, CTOs, Security Directors, IT directors, Security managers, Integrators, and other decision makers looking to make an educated decision on their next security implementation.

What we are looking for:

At VMSTODAY, we examine issues and questions facing executives as they make technology decisions for their organizations – facts they need to know about specific products, obstacles, technology trends, available options, and innovations to consider.

While a majority of our content is written in-house, you are welcome to send us an idea for an article or a completed article at any time. We will consider articles that are focused on Video Surveillance, IP Video Technology, Drones and Internet of Things (IoT) Security. Articles should not more than 800 words in length. If there’s a topic you are interested in writing about that does not meet these standards, contact the managing editor to discuss your idea – contact email: reviews@vmstoday.com.

Submissions should be sent as a Word document and include a brief writer bio. Please note that we cannot guarantee that we will publish a contributed article or column.
